New business area and a new-look senior management for Atrium Ljungberg

Atrium Ljungberg is expanding its organisation through the creation of a new Business Area, Transactions and Market, with the aim of further increasing our focus on growth and generating new business opportunities. The new Business Area will be headed by Micael Averborg, the current Business Area Director, Offices, and work on recruiting his successor is now in progress. Linus Kjellberg has also been appointed as the new Business Development Director, succeeding Carola Lavén, who left the Group in April. Linus, who is currently working as a Business Development Officer at Atrium Ljungberg, will take up his new position immediately.

"We currently have an SEK 5 billion project portfolio and an aggressive growth strategy. The creation of a new Business Area will enable us to build an efficient organisation with a clear focus on growth. Our business development team will continue to develop our existing property portfolio, while the new Business Area will be tasked with generating new business opportunities and topping up the project portfolio," says Atrium Ljungberg's Managing Director, Ingalill Berglund.

Magnus Alteskog, Atrium Ljungberg's Project Development Director and a member of the senior management, announced in May that he will be leaving the company to set up his own business. Magnus has resigned his position in the senior management team, effective immediately, and will be leaving the company completely during the summer. Work on appointing a successor has now begun.

"I can understand that after 14 years with the company, Magnus is now looking for a new challenge. He has been a major asset to Atrium Ljungberg for many years and we wish him every success in his new venture," comments Managing Director, Ingalill Berglund.

Atrium Ljungberg's senior management team, once all of these changes have taken place, will comprise: Ingalill Berglund, Managing Director; Annica Ånäs, CFO; Helena Martini, HR Director; Linus Kjellberg, Business Development Director; Micael Averborg, Business Area Director, Transactions and Market; Mattias Celinder, Business Area Director, Retail; and two Business Area Directors for Offices and Projects. Recruitment is currently ongoing for these latter two positions.
